McNamee Hosea Supports Local Charities for the Holidays
Each year, McNamee Hosea prides itself in giving back to our communities and ensuring families in our surrounding communities have a memorable holiday season. During Thanksgiving, staff and attorneys assist in providing donations and preparing Thanksgiving Baskets for families. During the winter holidays, the firm sponsors numerous children and families to provide gifts and clothing for local Holiday Sharing Programs.
Thanksgiving Outreach
This year McNamee Hosea was able to prepare Thanksgiving Baskets for thirty families. Twenty-five were donated to the Annapolis Light House, five to the Prince George's County Child Resource Center (PGCRC), and five to the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services (DSS). The baskets included all of the typical fixings to make a yummy Thanksgiving spread, including a gift card for a turkey. In addition, we were able to provide gift cards for five seniors of the Anne Arundel DSS to purchase groceries and make a contribution to the Anne Arundel Bar Association.
Holiday Sharing Efforts
In an effort to help create a magical Christmas experience for as many children as possible, the firm sponsored three local charities with their holiday projects. With the assistance of our attorneys and staff we were able to purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts for fifteen children of the Anne Arundel County DSS Holiday Sharing Program. Furthermore, the firm donated coats to the One Warm Coat Drive, provided cold gear and gift cards for five mothers of PGCRC and five seniors of the Anne Arundel County DSS. Finally, we were also able to make a donation to the Anne Arundel Bar Association.
