McNamee Hosea Associate, Jonathan Novak, featured on '60-Minutes' Episode

McNamee Hosea Associate Attorney, Jonathan P. Novak, was recently interviewed about his work at the Drug Enforcement Administration. As part of an investigation into the pharmaceutical industry’s influence over DEA, Jonathan spoke about the incredible and inexplicable slowdown of investigations prosecuted by DEA as the death toll of opioid-related overdose swelled across the country.  Jonathan also spoke about the Marino Bill, a new piece of federal legislation designed to defang and weaken DEA’s enforcement powers, and about how the bill, already passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate, will ultimately serve only the best interests of the pharmaceutical industry.

The “60 Minutes’ interview was done as part of a collaborative investigation with Washington Post, in which Jonathan also assisted.
