Shannon Hayden considers herself both an advocate and advisor when assisting her clients. She asserts that she can “help her clients understand and hopefully simplify the legal intricacies involved in the litigation process.” As a result, it is no surprise that she prides herself in being analytical, attentive, and understanding, all essential traits of a quality attorney.
Ms. Hayden explains her approach when representing to be client driven. She says that she also is driven and willing to analyze her clients problems from all angles in order to reach a better resolution for them. Prior to joining the litigation practice group with McNamee Hosea, Shannon served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Cathleen M. Vitale in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. She is confident that her experience in this position will be of benefit to her as well as her clients because she has a heightened understanding of how judges think, what they look for, and how to win a case.
Shannon Hayden’s interest in legal studies sparked while taking paralegal courses in community college. It was then that she came to the realization that she found joy in reading and analyzing the law. Thus, with the encouragement of one of her professors she went on to pursue her Juris Doctor after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Baltimore. Shannon attained her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2020 and was barred into the State of Maryland in December of the same year.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family, particularly in the summer, at her parent’s house, where she can partake in various outdoor activities including boating, kayaking, hiking, and crabbing.
