James M. Greenan Named by Washingtonian Magazine as One of the Top Attorneys in The Washington Metropolitan Area
James M. Greenan, a managing partner of the firm McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Walker, P.A., has been named one of the best bankruptcy attorneys in the Washington metropolitan area by Washingtonian Magazine in its December 2007 issue. Mr. Greenan was named as one of the first names to hire, particularly when a person or corporation is considering filing for bankruptcy or seeking to reorganize their financial affairs. Mr. Greenan has specialized in the practice of bankruptcy and creditor rights for more than 25 years. He is active in the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association and currently is a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Greenan has been elected President-Elect of the Maryland Bar Association for the Year 2008-2009.
The Washingtonian selections were made by legal editor Kim Isaac Eisler, author of the legal classic Shark Tank, which has recently been released by Beard Books. Eisler relied on recommendations from hundreds of lawyers, clients and judges in distilling his list down to a small percentage of the total number of lawyers in Maryland, Virginia and the District. The list appears in the December 2007 issue of Washingtonian, now available at supermarkets and other newsstands.
